How to read this

Method

A B2B page is only worth anything if the reader can trace it. This note says where each class of statement comes from, and names the things we will not assert.

Where the regulatory statements come from

Every regulator name, instrument title and register link carries a date. On that date it was read against the official source listed on the jurisdiction page — the regulator’s own site, the statute database, or the government portal. We do not restate a rule from a secondary summary, a law-firm briefing or a news article.

Where the counts come from

The delivery counts come from six official registers, listed below. They are counts of published records, not estimates of market size. A record exists because a regulator published it; if a regulator does not publish something, it does not appear here and we do not model it in.

What we will not state

  1. Approval timelines. No regulator in these jurisdictions publishes one, and the honest range is wide enough to be useless as a planning input.
  2. Fees. Published fee schedules cover application processing, not the cost of an approval process, and quoting one implies the other.
  3. Approval rates. Nobody publishes the denominator.
  4. Whether your specific case will be approved. That belongs to the authority named on the page.

Two known gaps in the source data

  1. The Singapore register does not publish the awarding institution’s home country. So the Singapore page shows arrangements and institutions but no country breakdown — the field is missing at source, not in our processing.
  2. Some Singapore records list a funding or certification agency in the same column as the awarding body. Those entries are held in the underlying data but excluded from institution counts, because counting a funding agency as an education provider would overstate the market.

Relationship to campus.org.cn

This desk and campus.org.cn read the same underlying registry records, and only those. campus.org.cn organises them for families deciding whether a specific programme is worth enrolling in; this site organises them by jurisdiction and arrangement for institutions deciding how to enter a market. The judgement layers are separate on purpose — a risk flag written for a family is not a fact about a market.
